We have the pleasure of inviting you to our conference "A new era of opportunity in Poland". The result of the recent referendum proved that there is a strong desire within Poland to be at the heart of Europe. A new era has begun which is replete with opportunity for a country with enormous potential. Poles must now 'seize the day'. On 1st May 2004 Poland will become a member of the European Union. After this, the legislative and economic landscape of the country will change forever.

Eurobuild's conference "A new era of opportunity in Poland" will be held from November 6th-7th 2003 in Brussels. It will be the first of a series of such under the umbrella title "POLAND'S EUROPEAN ROADSHOW" and will strive to strengthen the country's business ties with those of existing EU member states.

The forum will provide broader insights into the Polish macro-economy and a review of the opportunities and challenges accompanying Poland's accession to the EU.

One of the most important objectives of the conference is to encourage a speedier inflow of direct investment and portfolio capital from foreign investors. Another, is to highlight that as a participant in the single European market, Poland's own products and services can expect to benefit from greater international exposure.

The conference is likely to be of significant value to representatives of both Polish and international small and medium-size companies.

Participants will include representatives of Polish and foreign companies from retail, consultancy, law, development, real estate agents and financial institutions.

Presentations will be made by representatives from the EU, the Polish Agency for Information and Foreign Investment, speakers from select ministries and financial institutions, and those from companies working in consultancy, law, development and real estate brokerage.
